Minimum requirements for the Warehouse Manager Job opportunity:
Five years’ experience in a similar role
Computer literate in Microsoft Office and pastel
Experience in managing staff
Excellent understanding of the supply chain
Technical knowledge of the day-to-day management of a warehouse
Adaptable to operational changes and overtime when required
Pro Active, deadline driven and the ability to get task completed
Valid driving license
 
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:
Conduct investigations and disciplinary hearings etc.
Housekeeping
Manage the team's productivity and time management
Management of approximately 20 staff members
Prevent and manage shrinkage and damages
Manage logistics in warehousing and expenses in the department e.g., overtime
Manage the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Utilise the prescribed system to draw reports
Manage the budget for the section
Manage staff and welfare of members
Manage the branch warehouse function
Manage stock control and inventory function including stock take preparation
Bin locations
Enforce safety and housekeeping programme on an ongoing basis
Leverage Inventory system reporting to control branch logistical functions
Daily cycle counts
