Warehouse Assistant job available in Roodepoort, Johannesburg. Our Recruitment Agency is current hiring for an exciting job opportunity for a young candidate to join a small but stable organisation based in Roodepoort. We are currently looking for someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty, who is physically fit and will take initiative and look for tasks to complete to keep themselves busy during slower times of the day.

The Warehouse Assistant controls the flow of stock through the warehouse, monitoring goods in and out, safely and efficiently moving and handling items and keeping of accurate stock records.

As the Warehouse Assistant your responsibilities will include:

All the received and dispatched goods
uploading of deliveries
checking in of stock
sorting and placing materials in their allocated area in the warehouse
collect, prepare and complete orders for dispatch
stock counting and location checks

Minimum job requirements for the Warehouse Assistant:

1-2 years working experience, ideally within a warehouse environment
Grade 12 Certificate
Good communication skills, and proficient in English
Self-motivated
Physically strong
structured thinker
