Kontak Recruitment is currently sourcing and hiring for a Systems Administrator vacancy to be based in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
 
Educational Requirements of Senior Systems Administrator:
Senior Certificate and relevant experience
IT Degree, relevant experience and expert training on systems used in business.
At least 3 years’ experience as a systems administrator/role in the educational sector
 
Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Systems Administrator:
Excellent knowledge of student management systems is a prerequisite.
Moodle, ICAS and CRM
Setting up of student management and other systems used
Extract and supply management information on a regular and ad hoc basis
Train staff in use of software used.
Manage maintenance of computers, printers, fax machines and copiers.
Ensure security of data in particular assessment documents.
Initiate processes by generating reports and data as per year planner.
Attend meetings and workshops.
Self-development
Ensure assessment date be deliver in desired format by designated dates in terms of year planner and quality assurance guidelines.
Ensure soft and hardware requirements of staff are met.
Ensure computers, printers, copiers, and faxes are operative at all times.
Input with setting year planner.
Ensure staff are fully trained in terms of software used.
