Kontak Recruitment Agency is currently recruiting and hiring for a Site Managers/Supervisors to start ASAP.
A manufacturing company based in Centurion is currently looking for a Glass & Aluminium Site Manager/Supervisor to start immediately/ASAP.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience in Glass & Aluminium industry
Must have experience in glass and aluminium industry. They want the people to start as soon as possible.
Salary negotiable and dependent on years of experience within the industry,
Experience essential with curtain walling, spider fittings, shop fronts
MUST have knowledge and experience in Shopfronts; Curtain Wall; Sliding Folding doors (Stacking Systems); Frame-less & different Aluminium systems and profiles
Job requirements for Site Manager/Supervisor:
Grade 12
Own transport & valid unendorsed license
MUST have knowledge in the glass & aluminium industry
Must be computer literate and can work on Starfront & AutoCAD
Must have knowledge and experience in Shopfronts; Curtain Wall; Sliding Folding doors (Stacking Systems); Frame-less & different Aluminium systems and profiles
Responsibilities and duties of the Site Manager/Supervisor:
Ensures the staff follow company policies and procedures, while manufacturing quality products.
Inspect the work of staff and implement rules in the assembly line, such as wearing protective gear or proper uniform.
Setting production goals and meeting target dates, completing paperwork daily related to the assembly line,
Reporting to supervisors, and communicating with other departments in implementing new company policies.
Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
Position parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit;
fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications;
notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions;
troubleshoot malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
