Educational Requirements for Medical Receptionist:
Grade 12
Tertiary of some sort would be recommended
 
Minimum requirements:
Previous experience in a Medical Receptionist, Optometrist or Medical imaging role.
Live within the surrounding area
Own vehicle
Able to work in a high-pressure environment, with a keen eye for detail
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient management
Patient queries and follow ups
Medication stock control
Readers/Solar shields orders
Emergency trolley
Stock expiry dates
Equipment service dates
Emergency protocols
Medical emergency
Answering the phone when needed
Assisting with bookings or patient queries
Assistance with admin duties when needed
