Kontak Recruitment is current recruiting in Africa for an experienced Sales Engineer with a technical (engineering) sales background to be based in Cameroon. A Sales Engineer is required to join an established team to expand sales opportunities in West Africa with a focus on Cameroon and head office based in Johannesburg South Africa for a company specializing in wood processing technology. Extensive travelling throughout West Africa in required and majority of time will be spent in Africa.

Job Details - REGIONAL SALES ENGINEER (TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT)

Regional Sales Engineer (Technical Equipment) (JB295)
Douala Cameroon (Extensive travel throughout West Africa)
R30 000 – R45 000 per month basic plus commission

Requirements of Sales Engineer:
High School Diploma;
Tertiary qualification would be an advantage;
Min 5+ years’ experience within a technical Sales role;
Previous experience having worked in West Africa;
Fluent French;
Ability to travel extensively.
 
Responsibilities of Sales Engineer:
To develop and maintain a customer base by marketing and selling industrial equipment;
Engage and onboard new dealers and maintain existing dealers;
Act as Area Development Manager for West African region;
Establish trade routes through West Africa;
Determine trends and setting prices by conducting in-depth SWOT analysis;
Develop marketing ideas and strategies in conjunction with Management team;

Candidates who are apply should be in possession of a valid passport and have no travelling restrictions with a clear criminal record
