Junior Graphic Designer  (JB326)
Rivonia, Sandton
Salary: R12 000  - R15 000 CTC per month (dependent upon experience)
To start immediately/as soon as possible
 
Kontak Recruitment is currently recruiting and hiring on behalf of a large and well-known fashion retailer for a Jnr Graphic Designer. A large and well-known clothing brand based in Rivonia; Sandton are currently looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to start as soon as possible. Must have experience in retail, videography and photography as well. Send CV with small portfolio or link to online portfolio when applying.
 
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required
Grade 12
Degree/Diploma or further education (certificates) in Graphic Design from the University of Johannesburg
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with the full Adobe Creative Suite of apps
Experience in social media and digital advertising design: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube videos, PPC/PPM Advertising
Must have Retail background
Own Transport
Must be able to handle extreme pressure
 
Duties include, but are not limited to:
The Graphic designer works with the employer to meet marketing needs by creating attractive designs and media for marketing, product and product packaging purposes by using creative software, sketches & mock-ups.
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary as you will be working directly with the marketing manager to fulfil your key responsibilities and duties.
The graphic designer works within the corporate guidelines that meet the employer’s demands. They may also work with buyers, marketing consultants and other designers to ensure that designs and media meet branding requirements and suites target audiences
Generate original and enticing ideas to meet the corporate guidelines and standards of the company
Follow CI guidelines and ensure brands are properly upheld in all marketing collateral
Create attractive, conceptually-driven designs and layouts
Spelling & Grammar needs to be checked to make sure designs are error free
Professional photography to be done
Professional videography to be done
Excellent skills in the editing and re-touching of images effectively as required
Design and develop emailers and marketing material
Attend brainstorm sessions to solve strategic design challenges
Present projects to the company if necessary
