Assistance will be provided with relocation costs to the Free State.
THE PURPOSE OF THE FOOD SAFETY MANAGER POSITION
Responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining all aspects of quality and food safety requirements, in line with the requirements of ISO22000 standards.
Ensure adherence to internal quality and food safety policies, goals and standards and external quality and food safety legislation.
Requirements:
Matric
5 years or more working experience of which 3 years within a supervisory position
Diploma/Degree in Quality/Food Safety Management or a Diploma/Degree in Food Technology
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Management system implementation, administration, audits and continual improvements
Coordinate with external consultants on Management System Improvement
Coordinate external and supplier audits
Food Safety & GMP/PRP Implementation and verification
Management of Laboratory, control and handling of non-conforming products
Subordinate and team training on Quality and Food Safety requirements.
Research and development
Internal communication meetings
