Educational
requirements of Debtors Team Manager:
Degree
or Diploma in Credit Management
At least
3-5 years’ experience with financial and collections (Accounts receivable)
management
MS
Office knowledge
Knowledge
of accounting software
Experience
in Multi business/group Collection
Key Performance
Areas and Function of Accounts Receivable Team Manager:
Staff
management and leadership
Management
of accounts receivable team and debt collectors within a call center type
environment
Debtors management
and reporting
Collections
Reporting
Handovers
Negotiations
Payment plans
Age analysis
Collection
campaigns and incentives
Provide
leadership and direction to direct reports and collections team
Manage staff
resources to ensure optimal staffing requirements for collections department
Ensure highly
trained and motivated direct reports
Ensure bad
debt targets and KPI’s are achieved by reducing bad debt provisions and
targeting late stage debtors
Accurate
and timeous reports produced as per required deadlines
Develop and
implement incentives and branch targets for collections
Application
and adherence of group credit policies
