R50 - 55 000 per month negotiable

Minimum requirement:
Degree or equivalent in Computer Science | Data Science | Information Technology
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Previous experience within Health care technology, finance or similar
 
Knowledge requirements:
Understand SQL instance services in Microsoft Azure
Expertise in SQL scripting using TSQL
Proficiency in MS SQL server
SQL objects development, performance, tuning, data analysis and integration
MSSQL server management studio, SSRS and SSIS
Monitoring and profiling tools – MS SQL profiler
Postgre SQL 
Microsoft Windows Server environment
Design, build and test data pipelines
Azure SQL services
Deploy and maintain data lakes and sand-boxing
Manage Reporting in SSRS
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, implementation and maintenance of MSSQL and Postgres based solutions
Administration and management of databases in QA, UAT and PROD environments
Performance tuning and optimization of database schemas, indexes and stored procedures
Manage and maintain current reporting systems using SSRS
Data base maintenance – backup, recovery, rebuilding and reorganizing
Ensure database is properly assessed and measured for functionality and performance
Produce documentation on data-flow, release notes and process flow
Maintain existing SQL instances
Deploy new instances using Azure SQL Services
Maintain existing infrastructures for databases and reporting systems and generating adhoc reports
