Requirements of Assistant Bookkeeper:
5+ years’ experience in general bookkeeping
Proficient in Pastel/ Sage and MS Office (With strong Excel)
Valid driving license
Relevant accounting/bookkeeping-related degree or diploma
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good time management and prioritization skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to take initiative
The ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
 
Responsibilities of Assistant Bookkeeper:
Administration of:
Corporate credit and petrol cards
Debtors and creditors
Asset management
Ensure that insurance
Weekly payment runs
Bookkeeping to trial balance
