Kontak Recruitment is currently recruiting a Bookkeeper for a permanent position within an Environmental Services company based in Honeydew, Roodepoort. 
 
This company has a very open and down to earth environment you would be working in friendly, casual Admin office with seven other employees. Ideally, you should be available immediately as the current Bookkeeper is relocating and they need someone to join them ASAP.
 
Minimum requirements for Bookkeeper vacancy: These are non-negotiable
Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in a Bookkeeping position
Current or recent experience with Quickbooks
Strong numerical ability
Analytical
Ethical
 
Duties for Bookkeeper vacancy:
Recording daily Financial transactions and completing the posting process.
Verify that all transactions are recorded in the correct Supplier and Customer ledgers.
Confirm debit orders are processed
Issue of daily invoicing
Generate quotes
Check and follow-up on all outstanding P.O.s
Enter all weekly discounts on receipt of payment.
Reconcile Bank accounts
Review monthly transaction allocation
Submit Statements to all Customers.
Review payments received according to agreed terms, generate a short-payment report and follow up with clients.
Monthly reporting on invoices
Assist the Accountant with the information required for Tax Returns
